History of Living Faith Family Church

Living Faith Family Church was founded in 1996 at the direction of the Lord to teach God's people faith so that they could live the supernatural, victorious life that God has called them to. The church began on September 1, 1996 in a small store front on Main Street in Torrington. After about 18 months there we moved into a 1300 square foot building on New Litchfield Street. Then after 3 years there, God blessed us with our current facility at 1304 Winsted Road in Torrington. We are excited to see what's next!

Rev. Diane Miller

Pastors David & Diane Miller were the co-founders and were the co-pastors of Living Faith Family Church founded in 1996. Pastor Dave has entered his rest and gone home to be with the Lord, October 11, 2021. They enjoyed a wonderful happy marriage for 43 years. Raised two wonderful daughters and have eight grandchildren.

Pastor Diane is our senior pastor, and continues to minister the divine truths of God’s Word, proclaiming the good news of God’s love and mercy revealed through the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the same today and is still healing and setting people free if they will believe. She is ordained with Rhema Ministerial Association International (RMAI).

Pastor Diane has a compassion and love for God’s people, longing to lift them up to be the valuable people God has created them to be. God believes in people and wants the best for all. And that is what Pastor Diane proclaims.

Rev. Steve & Heather Miller

Steve is our associate pastor at LFFC, Heather is the youth director. Steve has been an active member since 2003, and is a vital member of the worship team. He is ordained with Rhema Ministerial Association International (RMAI). Steve is the general manager at a large power equipment dealership in the area. Heather is a nurse. They have 5 children and two silly dogs.

John & Melissa Brett

John and Melissa have been members of LFFC since 1999. They are Elders of the church, along with being members of the Board of Trustees. Melissa has been our worship leader for many years. John serves as an usher, a much needed ministry of helps for any church. They have owned and operated a hardware store in Simsbury, CT for the past two decades, and have 2 grown children.

Celia Britch

Celia is our Children's Church director. She has been a member for over 14 years. Celia finds her calling to instill the love of God in our children. She is a mother, a grandmother and loves kids.

Mary Grenier

Mary started attending in 1998. She is an Elder at LFFC as well as serves as a member on the Board of Trustees. She is known as our prayer warrior. She coordinates all the hospitality outreaches.
